Day
(Kapa Tau’s VS. Omega Khai’s)
On Friday, the 30st of February 2015 we had our yearly athletics day at Zwartskop High School, where the Highveld campus competed against the Banklaan
Campus.
Klerksdorp and Soma Campuses also joined us for the day.
GREEN vs. BLUE!!
The day was filled with excitement and laughter, as we took part in all the
different items.
Everybody participated even if they had to walk the last 5 meters they
finished it!
We had a singing competition and as the blue was singing
alone, the green competed on the field.
Blue won the victory cup for singing and green took the sports cup for
most points earned in all items for the day.
The day was very successful! The first year students took hands and
as they walked around the rugby field they were transformed from a "Tarragoempie" to a "Spartan" as they crossed the finish line.
After the athletics day we had a socializing event at 'Elephant and
friends restaurant' where everybody mingled and enjoyed refreshments after a
long hot summer’s day.
